The hinged rack opens wide to make positioning and removing the sandwich straightforward. Once closed, its secure clip holds the bread and filling in place, helping prevent the sandwich from opening or dripping inside the toaster.
Its structured design also helps the toaster brown both sides evenly, giving you a satisfyingly crisp exterior and warm centre without needing a separate sandwich maker or grill.

Designed for Compatible KitchenAid Toasters
The sandwich rack is designed for KitchenAid Artisan toasters and selected KitchenAid two- and four-slice models with compatible slots. It is not compatible with the newer 5KMT2109 or 5KMT4109 models, while the long-slot 5KMT4116 requires the separately available 5KTSR22 sandwich rack.
