The Wüsthof Classic knife series with white handles adds a special touch to the kitchen. With sophisticated simplicity and impressive elegance, these timeless knives offer everything you need to prepare and serve fresh food. They are perfectly balanced, comfortable to hold, while preparing the ingredients for every dish with effortless control. Robust, sharp and functional - the classic kitchen tool series that stands out for its ease of use and is the right tool for every home cook and professional. Blade forged from a single piece of stainless steel (X50CrMoV15) with a hardness of 58 HRC. This special, high-carbon, corrosion-resistant alloy ensures that the critical properties of every Wüsthof knife are maintained from the start: razor-sharp, long-lasting cutting edge, high rust resistance, easy-to-restore edge. They are made in 55 sophisticated production steps: from forging to hardening and sharpening to polishing, and every perfectly crafted Classic knife undergoes more than 20 uncompromising quality control points. They are particularly sharp thanks to the Precision Edge Technology (PEtec) laser-controlled sharpening process. The final finishing work is carried out by hand by experienced Wüsthof specialists, ensuring exceptional sharpness, fast and easy cutting. They have grip panels made of comfortable and durable synthetic material, polyoxymethylene (POM) - which has a denser molecular structure to resist fading and discoloration. The full tang protects the hand, ensuring safety and balanced weight distribution. The robust handle panels are triple riveted for durability. Wüsthof technology offers outstanding sharpness: extremely high initial cutting performance, exceptionally long edge retention, long blade life, optimal cutting edge along the entire length of the blade, unique, consistently high and reproducible quality. Entirely made in Solingen, Germany. The Wüsthof Classic series is certified by the NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) for public health and food safety.
- Full tang - The full finger guard reliably protects the fingers during everyday cooking, and the balance facilitates fast and precise work.
- Full tang - The blade reaches all the way into the handle, providing the knife with reliable stability. In addition, it acts as a counterweight to ensure the blade is balanced.
- Hand guard - The ergonomic knife handle fits well in the hand and the curved handle tip prevents slipping. The robust handle panels are secured with stainless steel rivets.
- Ribbed blade - When cutting, small air pockets form in the recesses of the blade. This has the positive effect that thin or soft foods can be removed from the blade more easily during use and do not stick to it.
- Precision double-serrated edge - The bread knife with its unique double-serrated edge cuts through hard crusts as well as soft bread or large fruits such as pumpkins with just as much ease. The difference compared to a conventional serrated edge is immediately noticeable.
